Wishbone Canine Care was launched in 2004 as a doggy daycare, training and grooming centre in suburban Melbourne, the first of it's kind in Australia to donate 100% profits to charity. It's purpose was to provide funding for The Wishbone Foundation, a registered Australian charity founded to provide free care to pets with elderly or disabled humans.

Wishbone is now based in Victoria's northern Grampians region, offering holiday and respite care, training, dog walking and rehabilitation for dogs and cats in a rural settings.

Wishbone also produces an Australian made range of pet care products from which profits also support The Wishbone Foundation.
